The black surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. It is smooth and pleasant to the touch. Every clipboard is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is carefully finished, right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. This makes every piece one of a kind.
