The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. It's smooth for writing and stands up to daily use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, with a clean finish right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots can vary, so every piece is one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. Care & durability
