Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood, which is very stable and robust despite being so slim. The surface is sealed with two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. It feels smooth, so you can write without any bumps getting in the way. Wood is a natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This makes every piece unique and is not a defect. The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the size you order.
