Clipboard in chopping board shape, violet, with eyelets

Taking an order, ticking off a checklist, jotting down a quick note – and no firm surface anywhere in sight. This is exactly what this clipboard in chopping board shape is made for in your working day. The violet clipboard made from birch plywood gives you a sturdy writing surface on the go. It works when you're standing and wherever there's no desk nearby. And thanks to the two eyelets, it hangs neatly on a hook after work instead of lying around somewhere.

What changes for you

• You can write neatly even while standing, and nothing slips. That's because the 3mm birch plywood forms a firm, flat writing board.
• Your sheets stay together and in place, whether it's a stock list, a menu or a speech. The strong metal spring clip or wire clip takes care of that.
• You'll always find your clipboard straight away. The two eyelets make it easy to hang on the wall or on a shelf.
• You choose exactly the format that suits your papers – from DIN A3 to A6, each in portrait or landscape.
• Your board still looks well cared for after lots of use. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer.

Why this clipboard makes a difference every day

You can tell a good clipboard by the fact that you stop thinking about it. It sits steadily in your hand, holds the pages firmly and is simply there when you need it. The chopping board shape with rounded corners and the violet colour set it apart from typical office supplies. Use it on the shop counter, at the lectern or on a kitchen hook. Quick notes in between become a tidy, relaxed task.

Material & finish

The clipboard is made from 3mm birch plywood and carefully finished in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That's why it is very sturdy and robust despite its slim build. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the surface in everyday use. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain may be lighter or darker, and small knots can occur. This makes every board unique and is not a defect. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. • For taking orders in a café or restaurant: clip in your pad and start writing. At the end of your shift, the board hangs by its eyelet, ready for the next shift.
• For stocktaking, receiving deliveries or at the weekly market: your checklist sits firmly on the board. You tick things off while standing and keep track of everything.
• As a menu holder on the table or at the counter: the menu is held securely in the clip and looks lovingly presented. You can swap it in seconds.
• As a script holder on stage or in front of the camera: presenter cards, script or speech stay in order. The wood sits steadily in your hand.
• At home as a writing board for your shopping list, weekly plan or children's drawings. Hung up by its eyelet, it also becomes a small violet noticeboard.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood consists of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes the board much more dimensionally stable than a single layer of wood of the same thickness. That's why this clipboard only needs 3mm. It stays light in your hand, even if you carry it around all day. And it doesn't warp easily in everyday use.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer, simply wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaning products. That way your clipboard keeps its smooth, well-kept surface for a long time.
