The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its slim build, this makes it very sturdy and robust. The rounded corners sit comfortably in your hand. You can feel the clean finish every time you pick it up. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the surface in daily use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary from board to board. That makes every piece one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat with us.

Good to know about the clipboard

Plywood is made of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This makes it much more stable than a solid wood board of the same thickness. So your clipboard can be just 3 mm thick and stay light. It still works as a firm writing board that doesn't bend while you write.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer, just wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the surface stays looking cared for.

Can I choose the direction of the grain? As standard, the grain can run horizontally or vertically, because we arrange the cutouts to keep waste low. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Is the clipboard also available in landscape? Yes, every size from A3 to A6 comes in both portrait and landscape. Simply choose the version you need when you order.

Is there a clip with a pen holder? Yes, some clip options are available with a pen holder. That way your pen always stays to hand on the board.

Why does my board look different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This is not a defect. It makes every clipboard unique.
