Two coats of water-based clear lacquer make the surface hard-wearing and smooth, so your pen glides cleanly. Every clipboard is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Colour and grain vary slightly, and small knots may occur. This makes every piece unique and is not a defect.

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture. That way, your clipboard keeps its smooth surface and warm wood tone for years.
