Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3mm birch plywood, which is very sturdy and robust despite its slim build. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the dark red surface in daily use. Wood is a purely natural material. Small knots, differences in shade and fine irregularities in the grain are not flaws. They make every board unique. There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear lacquer seal, just wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This keeps the dark red surface looking good for a long time.
