It is neatly finished right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a purely natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are normal. They make every piece one of a kind and are not a defect.

Which way does the grain run? The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the size you order – we optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement; just send us a short message.

Does every clipboard look the same? No. Wood is a natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are normal and make every board unique.

How durable is the surface? The board is sealed twice with tough, water-based clear lacquer. This protects it well for everyday use.
