The double coat of water-based clear varnish protects the surface in daily use. It feels smooth to the touch. Every board is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished, right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a purely natural material. Small knots, varying shades and fine irregularities in the grain are part of it. They make every piece one of a kind, not faulty.

Can I use the clipboard in portrait and landscape? You choose the orientation when you order. Every size from A3 to A6 is available in a portrait or landscape version, with the clip placed to match.

Which way does the grain run? The grain can run horizontally or vertically. This is because the cutouts are arranged to keep waste to a minimum. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Why does every board look a little different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. That's exactly what makes your clipboard unique.

Which clip is right for me? The metal spring clip grips firmly and holds thicker stacks of paper too. The wire clip is flatter and more discreet. Some versions also come with a pen holder, so your pen is always to hand.
