The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light in the hand. The surface in a dark cherry tone is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. Your pen glides cleanly over the paper. The surface stays looking good for a long time. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots may vary. This is not a defect. It is what makes every piece one of a kind. The grain may also run horizontally or vertically. If you'd like a particular direction, this is possible after a quick chat with us.

Which sizes fit on the clipboard? You can choose between DIN A3, A4, A5 and A6. Each size is available in portrait or landscape.

Why does the grain sometimes run horizontally and sometimes vertically? We optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. If you'd like a particular grain direction, just send us a short message. This is possible by arrangement.

How robust is the surface? The board is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. The surface stands up well to daily use as a writing board.

Does every clipboard look the same? Not quite. Wood is a natural material. Brightness and grain vary slightly, and small knots are normal. This is exactly what makes your board one of a kind.

Which clip is the right one? The metal spring clip grips firmly. The wire clip holds flat and discreetly. Some versions also come with a pen holder, so your pen is always with you.
