This makes it smooth and hard-wearing in everyday use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is finished cleanly, right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a purely natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This makes each piece one of a kind, not a flaw. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Good to know about the clipboard

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the surface stays smooth and the colour stays fresh for a long time.

Which paper sizes fit the clipboard? You can choose between A3, A4, A5 and A6. Each size is available in portrait or landscape format.

Why does the grain on my board run horizontally instead of vertically? We optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste, so the grain direction can vary. If you like, we can make your board with the grain in the direction you want, by arrangement. Just drop us a quick message.

Is the surface coated? Yes. The birch plywood has two coats of durable water-based clear varnish. The surface is smooth and easy to wipe clean.

Does every clipboard look the same? Not quite. Wood is a natural material with varying lightness, grain and small knots. This makes every board one of a kind.

Which clip is right for me? The spring clip grips firmly and holds even thicker stacks of paper. The wire clip opens wide and is gentle on your sheets. Some versions are also available with a pen holder.
