The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to stay light, yet very stable and robust. The surface is sealed with two coats of hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This makes it feel smooth and lets it stand up well to everyday use. Every board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so every board shows its own grain. Small knots or colour variations are not a flaw. They make your clipboard one of a kind.

Good to know about the clipboard

Birch plywood consists of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This very structure makes it so resistant to warping. That is why the clipboard stays rigid and light at just 3 mm thick. It is ideal if you carry it around all day, whether on a stocktaking round or at the weekly market.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture. That way the wood keeps its smooth surface and warm colour for a long time.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? Yes, by arrangement. By default, the grain can run horizontally or vertically. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. Just send us a short message with your request.

Does every clipboard look the same? Not quite – wood is a natural material with its own grain, small knots and variations in colour. That is exactly what makes every board one of a kind.
