Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its slim build, the board is very sturdy and resistant to warping. The surface is sealed with two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. It feels smooth, lets your pen glide cleanly and stays looking good for a long time. Wood is a purely natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are part of it. They make every board one of a kind.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the two coats of clear lacquer, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe the board clean. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the colour and surface stay looking good for a long time.

Which way does the wood grain run? The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. This is because we optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Can I hang the clipboard up? Yes, there is a hanging eyelet at the top left and right. This lets the board hang securely on the wall from a hook, nail or string.
