Material & finish

The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to stay light. Thanks to its glued wood layers, it is still very stable and robust. The olive green surface has two coats of hard-wearing water-based clear varnish. It is neatly finished, with no rough edges. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain may be lighter or darker, and small knots may occur. This makes every board one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Good to know about the clipboard

Birch plywood is made of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This makes it much more dimensionally stable than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why 3 mm is enough here for a firm writing board. It does not bend and still stays pleasantly light. Ideal if you hold the clipboard in your hand all day.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning agents. That way, the olive green surface keeps its even, well-kept look for a long time.
