The surface is sealed with two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. It feels smooth and stands up well to everyday use. Every board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia, with clean finishing right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This is not a flaw – it is what makes each piece one of a kind.
