Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, yet light to hold. The surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. So it stands up to pens, paper and everyday handling. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain patterns and small knots can vary. The grain also shows through the black surface. That makes every board one of a kind. Clean finishing with rounded corners means nothing catches or scratches.

How to use the clipboard

• For stocktaking in the stockroom: clip in the list and tick off shelf by shelf. When you're done, the board hangs neatly back on its hook by the eyelet.
• In a café or restaurant: clip in the daily menu in A5 or A4 and place it on the table. Your guests hold a sturdy wooden menu instead of a loose sheet.
• On stage or in front of the camera: as a script holder, the board keeps your script, cue cards or speech together. You turn the pages calmly, and nothing slips.
• For field work or surveys: clip in the form and get it signed. The portable writing board stands in for the missing table.
• In the workshop, surgery or at home: hang the checklist on the wall. Everyone sees at a glance what's on today.

Good to know about the clipboard

Plywood is made of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it remarkably stable even when thin. It warps much less than solid wood of the same thickness. That's why the board, only 3 mm thick, stays flat and light even with daily use. Ideal if you hold it in your hand for hours.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe it clean. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. Then the black surface stays looking well kept for a long time.
