Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood, which is very sturdy and robust despite its slim build. The surface is sealed with two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. This makes it smooth to write on and resistant to everyday use. Wood is a natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are normal and make every piece unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several thin layers of wood glued together crosswise. This means it hardly warps and keeps its shape even when thin. That is why this clipboard only needs 3 mm. It is light enough to hold through long presentations and firm enough to be a reliable writing surface.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the two coats of clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture. That way, the colour and surface stay looking good for a long time.
