Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light to handle. The walnut-tone surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This way it withstands daily use and keeps looking good for a long time. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine structures in the grain are part of it. That is exactly what makes every piece one of a kind. The grain may run horizontally or vertically. On request, we can align it by arrangement – just send us a short message.

Why does my clipboard look slightly different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from board to board. Every piece is one of a kind – this is not a defect.

Can I choose the direction of the grain? Yes, by arrangement. As standard, the grain may run horizontally or vertically, because we optimise our cutouts. Just send us a short message with your request.

Which clip is right for me? The spring clip holds even thicker stacks of paper firmly. The wire clip is flatter and more discreet. Some versions are available with an optional pen holder.

How do I care for the board? Simply wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaners, and the sealed surface will stay looking good for a long time.
