It is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish, so it stays smooth and copes well with daily use. Every board is made in our own Bütic production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is neatly finished. Wood is a purely natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This makes every piece one of a kind – it is not a flaw.
