Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This keeps it stable in shape. It warps much less than a single solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why a thickness of just 3 mm is enough for the clipboard. It stays light enough for writing standing up for a long time. At the same time, it is firm enough to be a reliable writing surface.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Simply wipe the varnished surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This way the wood keeps its even anthracite look for a long time.
