It is made from 3 mm birch plywood and sits firmly in your hand. The dark wooden surface makes it look far sturdier than the usual plastic version.

Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to be light in the hand, yet very stable and robust. Two coats of water-based clear varnish protect the anthracite surface and make it hard-wearing in daily use. Every clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, with careful finishing and rounded corners. Wood is a natural material, so grain and shade can vary slightly and small knots may appear. This makes every piece unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Good to know about the clipboard

Plywood consists of several thin layers of wood glued together crosswise. This keeps the board stable even at just 3 mm thick, and it hardly warps. That is exactly what a clipboard needs when it is picked up every day and should give you a flat writing surface.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. Simply wipe the varnished surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaners. That way your wooden clipboard keeps its even anthracite look for a long time.
