The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood, which is very stable and sturdy yet light in the hand. The light oak surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This keeps it resistant in everyday use. Wood is a natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots may occur. This makes every board one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. Plywood is made of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it much more resistant to warping than a solid wood board of the same thickness. Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, a slightly damp cloth is all it takes to wipe the board clean. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaning products. That way the surface stays smooth and well-kept for a long time.
