Material & finish
The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3mm birch plywood. It is thin enough for a light board, yet very stable and robust thanks to its layered structure. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This makes it smooth to write on and hard-wearing in use. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it and make every board unique. The grain may run horizontally or vertically. This is because we optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. If you would like a particular direction, just send us a short message.
