Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, with a clean finish and rounded corners. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots can vary. This is not a flaw – it makes every piece unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several thin layers of wood glued crosswise. As a result, it warps much less than a plain board. That's exactly why a thickness of just 3 mm is enough for the clipboard. It stays light to carry and still gives you a firm, flat writing surface.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Simply wipe the clear-lacquered surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture – this way the wood keeps its even, well-kept look for a long time.

Can I hang the clipboard on the wall? Yes, it has two eyelets for hanging, one at the top left and one at the top right. This way it hangs straight and securely, for example for notices or menus.

Is the clipboard also available in landscape format? Yes, every size from A3 to A6 is available in portrait or landscape. Simply choose the format when you order.

Why does the grain on my board run differently from the photo? We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. The grain can therefore run horizontally or vertically. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat with us.

Is the surface hard-wearing? The grey surface is sealed with hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This makes it well suited to daily use.

Are small knots in the wood normal? Yes. Wood is a purely natural material. Small knots and varying textures are part of it and make every board unique.
