The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light in the hand. The convex shape with rounded corners is easy to hold and has no sharp edges. The neatly finished surface is sealed with a durable water-based clear lacquer. Wood is a purely natural material. Shade, grain and small knots can vary, so every piece is one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the size you order. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made by gluing several thin veneer layers crosswise. The fibres run alternately lengthways and across. That's why the board stays stable and hardly warps, even at just 3 mm thick. This makes birch plywood a good choice for a writing board that should be light yet firm.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe the surface. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way, your clipboard keeps its light blue surface for many years.
