Wooden clipboard – convex, rum shade, 2 eyelets, A3–A6

Jotting down an order at a busy market stall. Holding your presenter cards steady on stage. Hanging the shopping list on its hook at home. A good clipboard makes the difference wherever there is no table nearby. This wooden clipboard has a convex shape and a warm rum shade. It is made for moments like these: a sturdy writing board that holds your sheets in place and looks good too.

What changes for you

• You can write comfortably anywhere, even without a table. The 3 mm birch plywood forms a sturdy, flat writing surface.
• Your notes, checklists or menus stay put. The strong metal clip holds the pages together securely.
• After use, simply hang the board on the wall so it is always to hand. It has two hanging eyelets at the top left and right.
• The board is comfortable to hold, even for longer periods. The convex shape with rounded corners sits steadily in your hand and has no sharp edges.
• Your clipboard matches your style. Choose clips in silver, gold, rose gold, black or silver carbon – whichever colour you like.

Why this clipboard makes a difference every day

Stocktaking in the storeroom, taking orders at the weekly market or homework on the sofa: with a firm surface you write more easily and nothing slips. The rum shade is a rich brown with a red undertone. The board looks like an accessory you chose on purpose, not like office supplies. Hung on the wall, it also becomes a tidy place for everything you want to keep in view.

Material & finish

The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to feel light in your hand, yet very sturdy and robust. The surface is sealed with a durable water-based clear varnish. This keeps it smooth, and it copes well with everyday use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, with clean finishing right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a natural material, so each board shows its own grain with small colour variations or knots. This is not a flaw. It makes your clipboard one of a kind.

How to use the clipboard

• For stocktaking in the storeroom or shop: clip in your checklist and walk along the shelves. You can tick off item after item without looking for a table.
• At the market stall or for catering: orders and daily schedules hang by the eyelet on a hook, ready to hand. Everything is where you need it, even when it gets busy.
• In a café or restaurant: present your menu on the rum-coloured wood. Instead of a loose card, your guests hold a sturdy board.
• On stage or in front of the camera: Use it as a script holder for presenter cards, a speech or a screenplay. The clip keeps the pages together, and the board sits steadily in your hand.
• At home: clip in your shopping list, weekly plan or a child's drawing and hang it on the wall. Loose bits of paper become a tidy, pretty display.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made by gluing several thin layers of wood crosswise. This means it warps much less than a board made from a single layer. That is why this clipboard can be so light at just 3 mm thick and still keep its shape. You notice the benefit every time you write without a table.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaners. That way the surface keeps its warm rum shade for a long time.
