The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it light to carry, yet very sturdy and robust. The surface is sealed twice with a tough water-based clear lacquer in the rum tint. The board stays smooth, your pen glides cleanly over the paper and the surface is easy to keep clean. The convex shape with rounded corners sits comfortably in your hand. Wood is a natural material. Differences in lightness, small knots and fine variations in the grain are normal and not a defect. They make every piece one of a kind.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Why does every clipboard look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This is not a defect. It makes your board one of a kind.

Which clip is right for me? The metal spring clip grips firmly and also holds thicker stacks of paper. The wire clip is flatter and more discreet. Some versions are available with an optional pen holder.

Is the thin board really sturdy? Yes. Thanks to its glued layers, the 3 mm birch plywood is very sturdy and robust. At the same time, it stays pleasantly light.
