Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. The material stays light and still holds its shape very well. The turquoise surface is sealed with a durable water-based clear varnish. This makes it feel smooth, and it stands up to daily use for a long time. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain shows through, and small knots and differences in shade can occur. This makes every board unique – it is not a defect. The grain may run horizontally or vertically, because we optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible after a quick word with us.
