Good to know about birch plywood

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. The clear lacquer seal protects the surface in everyday use. To clean it, a slightly damp cloth is enough. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaning products. Then the board will keep its rich violet colour and smooth surface for a long time.

Can I hang the clipboard on the wall? Yes. There is a hanging eyelet at the top left and one at the top right. This lets the board hang within reach on the wall, for example as a holder for a menu, notes or your weekly plan.

Which clip is right for me? You can choose between a metal spring clip in silver, gold or rose gold and a wire clip in silver, silver carbon, black, gold or rose gold. Both hold your pages firmly in place.

Why does my board look slightly different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. This makes every clipboard one of a kind.

Which way does the grain run? Horizontally or vertically. We plan our cutting to keep waste to a minimum. If you'd like a particular grain direction, just send us a quick note.

How do I care for the surface? Simply wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. The water-based clear lacquer protects the wood in daily use.
