The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It's thin enough to stay light, yet very stable and robust. The surface is sealed twice with durable water-based clear lacquer. This makes it feel smooth, and you can write without bumps getting in the way. Every clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board, which makes each piece unique.
