The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its low thickness, this material is very stable and robust. It's also pleasantly light in your hand. The convex shape with rounded corners is neatly finished. The lemon yellow surface is sealed with a durable water-based clear lacquer. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain shows through differently on each board. Small knots or colour variations may occur. This isn't a flaw. It's what makes every piece one of a kind.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made by gluing several thin layers of wood crosswise. As a result, the material moves much less than a single board and keeps its shape. That's why a thickness of just 3 mm is enough here. Your clipboard is light to carry. It still gives you a firm writing surface that doesn't bend as you write.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, a slightly damp cloth is all it takes to wipe it clean. Avoid harsh cleaners. Don't leave the board lying in the wet for long periods. That way, the lemon yellow surface keeps its fresh colour for a long time.
