Material & finish

The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. Its veneer layers are glued crosswise. This makes it very stable and sturdy despite its low thickness. The rounded corners and clean finish feel pleasant in your hand. Two coats of water-based clear varnish protect the light walnut surface in everyday use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine structures in the grain are part of it. They are not a defect – they make every piece one of a kind. Depending on production, the grain may run horizontally or vertically.
