The clipboard is made from 3mm birch plywood. This makes it light in the hand, yet very stable and robust. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. It feels smooth and stands up well to daily use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is neatly finished. Wood is a natural material. Small differences in shade and grain as well as fine knots are part of it. They make every piece unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? Yes, on request. By default the grain can run horizontally or vertically, as we optimise how we cut our boards. If you would like a particular direction, just send us a short message.

Why does every board look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. They make every clipboard unique and are not a flaw.
