The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood or 3 mm HDF (high-density fibreboard). Both versions are very sturdy and cleanly finished. So the board keeps its shape even with daily use. The surface of the birch plywood is sealed with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This protects the wood and feels smooth. Birch plywood is a natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine structures in the grain are part of it. They make each piece unique and are not a defect.

Which clip is right for me? The spring clip and the wire clip hold loose sheets that you change often. The ring binder mechanism is the right choice if you want to file punched sheets permanently.

Which way does the wood grain run? The grain can run horizontally or vertically. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. If you would like a particular grain direction, just send us a short message. This is possible by arrangement.

Does every clipboard look the same? Not quite with birch plywood. As a natural material, it shows differences in shade, fine structures and small knots. Every board is unique.

Is the surface protected? Yes. The birch plywood is sealed with a durable water-based clear lacquer and can be wiped with a damp cloth.
