The clipboard is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It's thin enough to feel light in your hand, yet very stable and robust. The rounded corners of the segment shape and the clean finish mean nothing catches or scratches. The grey surface has two coats of tough water-based clear varnish. This way it copes well with frequent use. Wood is a purely natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary from board to board. That makes every piece one of a kind. Good to know about the clipboard

Plywood is made of several layers of wood glued crosswise. That's why it warps much less than a simple solid wood board of the same thickness. This is how the clipboard can stay so light at just 3 mm. It still gives you a reliably flat writing surface, even with daily use.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed and let it dry. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This way the grey surface keeps its well-kept look for a long time.
