Material & finish

The board is made of 3mm birch plywood. It is very stable and robust, yet pleasantly light to carry. Two coats of water-based clear varnish protect the surface in daily use. They also let your pen glide smoothly over the paper. Every clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Grain and shade vary slightly, and small knots may occur. This makes every board unique – it is not a defect.
