The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it light to carry and at the same time very stable and robust. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the surface in daily use. It's also pleasant to write on. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and carefully finished. Wood is a purely natural material. Varying shades, small knots and fine structures in the grain are part of it. They make each piece unique and are not a flaw. The grain may run horizontally or vertically. Plywood consists of several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This construction keeps it dimensionally stable and resistant to warping, even though the board is only a few millimetres thick.
