The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it light, yet very stable and sturdy. It sits steadily in your hand, even when you write standing up. The surface has two coats of tough water-based clear lacquer. It is smooth, neatly finished and copes well with everyday use. Wood is a purely natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots may appear. This makes every board unique and is not a defect. Your clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? By default, the grain runs horizontally or vertically, as we arrange the cutouts to avoid waste. If agreed in advance, we will be happy to align it the way you want. Just send us a short message.
