The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3mm birch plywood, which is very sturdy and robust despite being slim. The surface has two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. This keeps it smooth to write on and resistant to daily use. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine irregularities in the grain are not flaws. They make every piece one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning products. This way the olive green surface keeps its well-kept look for a long time.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? Yes, on request we're happy to align the grain the way you'd like. Just send us a short message. Without a request, it may run horizontally or vertically. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste.

Which clips can I choose from? You can choose between a metal spring clip and a wire clip. Some versions are available with an optional pen holder. Each comes in 8 colours, from silver to copper.

Is the surface coated? Yes, the birch plywood has two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer. The surface is smooth, easy to write on and resistant to everyday use.
