Material & finish

The board is made of 3 mm birch plywood in natural birch. It is very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light to carry. The rounded corners and the smooth, neatly finished surface sit well in your hand. Two coats of water-based clear varnish protect the wood in daily use. Every clipboard is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. So each board shows its own grain with small colour variations or knots. This is not a flaw. It is what makes every piece unique.
