The clipboard is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. It is made from 3 mm birch plywood or 3 mm HDF (high-density fibreboard). Both versions are dimensionally stable and sturdy. So the board stays flat, even with frequent use. The surface of the birch plywood is sealed with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This protects the wood and gives it a smooth, pleasant feel. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots in the grain are not flaws. They make every piece unique. The grain may run horizontally or vertically. This is because we optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. If you would like a particular grain direction, just get in touch with us briefly.
