The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. This keeps it smooth and easy to write on, even with daily use. Wood is a purely natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are normal. They make every piece one of a kind.

Can I hang the clipboard on the wall? Yes, it has two hanging eyelets, one at the top left and one at the top right – so it hangs straight and securely, for example with a menu or staff rota.

Which way does the grain run? The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order, as we optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement – just send us a short message.

Why does every board look a little different? Wood is a natural material: shade, grain and small knots vary. That's not a flaw – it makes your clipboard one of a kind.

Which clip is right for me? The spring clip, with its serrated edge, keeps a firm grip even on thicker stacks of paper, while the wire clip is flatter and more discreet – both come in eight colours, and some versions have a pen holder.
