The board is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It's thin enough to be light in your hand, yet very sturdy and robust in daily use. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. The hazelnut tone lets the natural grain show through. The corners are rounded and the finish is clean. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material, so brightness, grain and small knots can vary – which makes every piece one of a kind.
