Shade and grain vary, and small knots may occur. This makes every piece one of a kind and is not a defect.

Plywood is made of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it more dimensionally stable and more break-resistant than a solid wood board of the same thickness. There's not much you need to do. Simply wipe the board with a dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way, the lacquered surface keeps its well-kept look for a long time.

Which way does the wood grain run? The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of whether you order portrait or landscape. We optimise how we cut our boards to avoid waste. A preferred direction is possible on request – just send us a short message.
