Every clipboard is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. Plywood consists of several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This keeps it stable even when thin, and it hardly warps. That is why 3 mm birch plywood works so well as a clipboard. Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear varnish seal, simply wipe the board with a dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture. That way your clipboard keeps its warm chestnut shade for a long time.

Which way does the grain run? The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. We optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. On request, we can align the grain by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Does every clipboard look the same? No. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary. This makes every board one of a kind – it is not a defect.

Can I hang the clipboard up? Yes, it has two hanging eyelets, one at the top left and one at the top right. This way it hangs straight and securely on the wall.

Is there a clip with a pen holder? Yes, some clip versions are optionally available with a pen holder – so your pen is always right there on the board.
