Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm HDF, a high-density fibreboard – which makes it very sturdy and robust despite being so thin. The surface is sanded smooth on both sides, so your pen glides cleanly across the paper without catching or scratching. The rounded corners sit comfortably in your hand. As the material is made from natural wood fibres, the shade of brown may vary slightly from board to board and show small irregularities – this isn't a flaw, it makes every piece unique.
