Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its low thickness, this material is very stable and robust. The rounded corners and clean finish make it pleasant to hold, with no sharp edges. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the surface in everyday use. Wood is a purely natural material. Colour and grain vary, and small knots may occur. This makes every piece unique. The grain may run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. Good to know about the clipboard

Plywood consists of several layers of wood glued crosswise. That's why it is much more resistant to warping than a solid wood panel of the same thickness. Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Then let it dry. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This keeps the surface looking good for a long time.

Can I hang the clipboard on the wall? Yes, it has two hanging eyelets, one each at the top left and right. It hangs on a hook or nail without any extra accessories.

Which clip is right for me? You can choose between a metal spring clip and a wire clip in eight colours. Some versions are optionally available with a pen holder, so your pen is always to hand.

Why does the grain on my board run differently from the photo? We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. The grain may therefore run horizontally or vertically. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat with us.

Does every board look the same? No. Wood is a natural material with varying shades, fine textures and the occasional small knot. This makes your clipboard unique.

Can the surface be wiped clean? Yes. The double clear lacquer seal makes the board hard-wearing in everyday use. A slightly damp cloth is enough for cleaning.
