The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is strong enough for daily use and still pleasantly light. The rounded corners and clean finish mean nothing catches or scratches. Two coats of clear lacquer protect the olive green surface during use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material, so every board shows its own grain. You may see slight variations in colour and occasionally small knots. This is not a flaw. It is what makes each piece one of a kind.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several thin layers of veneer glued crosswise. This makes it more stable and less prone to warping than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That's why 3 mm is enough for a clipboard. It stays light to carry and still gives you a firm surface for neat writing.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This way the olive green surface stays looking cared for over time.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? Yes, on request. By default, the grain may run horizontally or vertically. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. Just send us a short message with your preference.

Is there a clip with a pen holder? Yes, some clip versions are available with an optional pen holder. That way your pen is always within reach.
