The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it light enough to take with you. At the same time, it is very sturdy and robust for daily use. The surface has two coats of durable water-based clear varnish. This keeps the orange fresh for a long time, and the surface is easy to wipe clean. The rounded corners and clean finish mean nothing catches or scratches. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Grain and shade may vary slightly, and small knots are normal. That makes every piece one of a kind.

How to use the clipboard

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several thin layers of veneer glued together crosswise. This makes it much more dimensionally stable and less prone to warping than a single layer of wood of the same thickness. That's exactly why birch plywood works so well as a writing board. It stays flat, even if you pick it up every day.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Simply wipe the varnished surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaning products. This way, the colour and wood will stay looking well cared for over time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hang the clipboard up? Yes, there is a hanging eyelet at the top left and one at the top right. You can hang it straight onto hooks or nails on the wall.

Which way does the wood grain run? The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of whether you order portrait or landscape format. This is because we optimise our cutouts to keep waste low. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.

Why does every board look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary. This is not a flaw. It makes your clipboard unique.

Which clip is right for me? You can choose between a spring clip and a wire clip. Some versions are optionally available with a pen holder. There are eight clip colours in total.
