The wooden clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. This makes it sturdy and robust without feeling heavy in your hand. The surface is sealed with two coats of hard-wearing, water-based clear lacquer. The rounded corners sit comfortably in your hand. Every board is carefully made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots may occur. That makes every piece one of a kind. Good to know about birch plywood

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the surface keeps its bold colour and smooth feel for a long time.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? Due to production, the grain runs horizontally or vertically, regardless of the size you order. If you get in touch, we're happy to align it the way you'd like. Just send us a short message.

Is the clipboard also available with a pen holder? Yes, some clip options are available with an optional pen holder – so your pen is always to hand on the board.

Does every board look exactly the same? No – wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary and make every clipboard one of a kind. This is not a defect.

How robust is the surface? The 3 mm birch plywood is very sturdy. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the surface in everyday use.
